The share of Americans, who read for pleasure, on a given day, has fallen by more than 30 percent since 2004, according to the latest American Time Use Survey from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

That is why I am inviting you to advance the read, by inviting others to join my reader’s circle!

Reading promotes relaxation, releases stress, promotes laughter while allowing you to tap into your creative side!

the Scholarships

Your education is important. 

My staff and I believe it is an honor to be able to give you a chance to win a scholarship!

Here’s how:

  • You must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have C average.
  • Must be at least a Sophomore.
  • Provide us with your full name and contact formation “address and valid phone number, plus an e-mail address”
  • You must be able to provide proof of registration with a College or University. 2- or 4-year Institution.
  • Purchase the book and read it: We will need the ISBN number and the date of purchase.
  • Provide us with 1 paragraph on your analysis of the book.
  • Tell us how you wear your name in 1 paragraph.
  • In 1 sentence. What are you doing to advance reading in your community?
  • Why should we select you for the scholarship? Please keep it detailed yet brief.
  • Scholarships range from $250.00 to $1000.00 per year.

December 31st of 2021 is this year deadline.
